Standard: TF-VI.D. Promote safe and healthy use of technology resources.

I have recommended the implementation of the acceptable use policy to provide students with the knowledge of healthy and safe technology use.

Through the implementation of an acceptable use policy, promoting safety is a number one concern for parents as well as educators. The acceptable use policy bullets all of the necessary rules that keep the students safe. However, the technology teachers must be persistent not to allow negative behavior. If a student does not follow the policy, consequences must be implemented to show the importance of promoting safe and healthy use.
