Standard: Plan strategies to manage student learning in a technology-enhanced environment.

This article provides physical education teachers with different strategies of managing student learning during the implementation of Wii Bowling while still providing technology support.

The Nintendo Wii Bowling Review is a great example of implementing technology into a subject that utilizes strategies in an active environment. Getting the students involved quickly is a key to the success of using the technology. Setting the system up before class will be beneficial to the students and the flow of the class. Also, it would be better for the students to receive the “how-to” of the technology in technology class so we are not wasting time teaching the students during physical education.
