Standard TF-II.B.

Standard: Apply current research on teaching and learning with technology when planning learning environments and experiences.

This article's research assists teachers by planning and implementing technology into physical education.

As a physical educator, it has become very difficult incorporating technology into P.E. and keeping the necessary class time on movement. During the curricular applications course, I researched the Nintendo Wii Bowling game. I believe Nintendo is doing and excellent job using technology to get kids active while learning and enjoying the technology. The research I discovered on the game had its positives and negatives. The students did learning correct form (main goal of physical education) of bowling, however, there needs to be sufficient time setting up the console and teaching the students how to use the technology.
