This PowerPoint assists teachers by exposing them to technologies in accordance with the standards and the curriculum all while modeling the technology in the curriculum content.

Since computers are given to all Howard County educators, the programs that are installed are excellent tools teachers can use in the classroom. Microsoft’s Office has multiple programs educators can use for students as well as for classroom management. Of course, the programs installed on the computer can be fine tuned for all grade levels. The Explore the Moon project utilizes the PowerPoint program. The template designed is based for elementary aged students. The buttons and sound bites are designed for simple relay between the slides as well as auditory learning. Using the kiosk mode of PowerPoint will be increase student learning and reduce the chances of troubleshooting.
