Standard: Identify and use technology resources that affirm diversity.
Throughout the internship, I assisted a teacher with the wiimote technology to address cultural and language differences. Elizabeth Ogden chose to implement the wiimote technology into her kindergarten class. One of the obstacles she was dealing with was the lack of communication between her and her one student. The student was from a different culture thus speaking a different language. She figured it would be beneficial to the student and the class to use the wiimote as a bridge for learning words for english speaking students as well as her diverse students.
