The Steps in U.S. Project provides physical educators a distance education method of communicating globally through interactive technological strategies within the physical education curriculum.
The telecommunications course provided a learning opportunity to develop web pages through javascript. I created a telecollaborative project that focuses on becoming healthy through walking and collaborating with students and schools across the United States. The program is designed to analyze the steps the students take in their physical education class and compare the units and activities that are implemented. The standards used in this project is in a cross-curriculum format with physical education, technology, and mathematics.
